While these principles remained constant, in April 2005 the Work at Height Regulations No.735 were introduced which removed the 2m rule. This legislation introduces
the requirement for risk assessment, planning and inspection of equipment. Detailed requirements are given for many types of equipment including ladders. All work at any height above
or below ground level is covered by this legislation.
The need to maintain and certify the equipment (annually) is also covered but at fixed agreed rates in order to give cost control. Our service personnel are fully trained by various manufacturers of the equipment. Our Consultancy Services
